Photography is a great hobby which can be performed by almost everyone. Most people have operated a camera or have at least been the motive for a photographic action.  

The idea of catching the glimpse of a moment on film, or by today’s standard, as an electronic document, is intriguing and the results of this activity have fascinated people during the last 150 years.

The word Photography has been derived from the Greek words “Foto” and “Grafi” meaning “light” and “to draw”. Directly translated Fotografi is significant to “drawing by light”. It is a good description as this is exactly what you are trying to do when taking a picture. By combining and harmonize light and objects the photographer tries to recreate the moment, where the main object is to preserve the colours and atmosphere. Most people does not have the artistic approach to photography and use the camera only to shoot pictures of friends and families in various social gatherings. Others will bring their camera gear with them at all times and will use every opportunity to make a shot.  

This section of the Website contains pictures shot at various spots and by different opportunities. A brief Diary showing a few pictures for every month during the past years is included together with thematic pictures covering topics as Bridges, Cities, Landscapes, Lighthouses and other subjects.
